Zhongzheng Bridge and Douliuzai Mountain

1. After the Typhoon Morakot Disaster of August 8th, the City Government managed to secure a rebuilding fund of NT$ 140 million. Tainan Public Works Bureau designed Zhongzheng bridge, while construction was subcontracted to a construction company. The resulting bridge is 8 meters wide and has a span of 233 meters and ramps of 347 meters for a total length of 580 meters.
3. Construction of Zhongzheng Bridge began in June 2010 and was completed in November 2011, providing commuters with a safer and more comfortable route. The Bridge also improved the speed and convenience of transporting farm produce, reducing farmers' cost of production while boosting productivity and living standards. Zhongzheng Bridge has a beautiful arch shape and a color that complements the mango-shaped road lights. With the beautiful natural environment of Douliuzai Mountain in the vicinity, Zhongzheng Bridge has become one of the most featured destinations of Yujing District, helping to promote local tourism and industries.
